Track down the Carpathian mountains on a hard enduro motorcycle, a bike that gets through every terrain and takes you anywhere. On a 3 to 5 day off-road bike trip through valleys, along and through streams, on mountain ridges. Sleep in a different location (hotel) every night. Make memories lasting a lifetime.
3-day Avram Iancu Tour
5-day trip with 3-day riding tour in the Apuseni mountains in Transylvania. Sleep in hotels in skiing resorts, after good meals. Visit an iron mine. Enter a cave. Come across multiple places full of history of Avram Iancu, a national hero from the 19th century. See tons of mushrooms (depending on month and weather), and taste some. Grill your lunch on open fire. Cut through terrain you didn’t think is possible.
You arrive on day 1 in Cluj-Napoca (see how to get here) and sleep in a city hotel. In the morning of day 2 we leave, and spend the next 3 days and 2 nights in the mountains, and sleep in hotels along the path. The last (4th) night we arrive back in Cluj where you sleep in the city hotel again. The 5th day is returning home. (You can of course come earlier and leave later, for other activities in Romania.)
3-day Gold Rush Tour
5-day trip with 3-day riding tour in the Apuseni mountains in Transylvania. Sleep in hotels in skiing resorts, after good meals. Visit a historical underground gold mine with tunnels. This area has seen gold mining until a few years ago, previously in the Middle Ages by German settlers, before that by the Romans, and initially already during the Stone Age. Visit a gold mining museum. Come along an open-pit gold mine that operated until recently. Depending on season we may find lots of treasure in the forests in the form of mushrooms. Grill your lunch on open fire. Cut through terrain you didn’t think is possible.

Motorcycles and protective gear
You get one of our six KTM EXC-F 350 hard enduro bikes, in perfect condition, with the seat for your body height.
You also get the whole set of safety equipment for your body size. Before the enduro trip we ask you for your measurements.
Requirements
The motorcycle driving license is a must for round trips. There are a few kilometers to ride on a connecting road, or in the towns where we spend the night. Our enduro bikes are registered and street legal.
You also need some riding experience, not necessarily off-road. You need to be fluent with gear shifting and breaking, else such a tour is too dangerous for you, and you would need a basic training first.

If you would like to ride more than just 3 days, combine this tour with more off-road motorcycling. After 3 days on the bike it is usually a good idea to have a break for a day to relax, and Cluj is the right place for that.
